Clubhouse Door Code Change

Hi Everyone,

As Orindawoods Tennis Club members I am writing to tell you that the door code for the clubhouse has changed. This only apples to members who use the club in the early morning, or evening hours. The doors are still unlocked during the day.

Get the Code: To find the new code, go to orindawoodstennis.com, go to the membership page, and there is a link to the door code at the bottom of that page. When you click on that, you will be prompted to sign in (if you are not already signed in). After successfully signing in, the code will be revealed.

As you may or may not know, we have had some teenage party activity in the clubhouse on the weekends. The evidence is clear that they have the code, from members at some point, and it has been passed around the local party scene. So it is time to change the code, as after-hours partying on the club property and in the club house is not acceptable. The same is true of after-hours swimming hot tubing in the summer months.

In addition to changing the code, and having weekend police visits, we have also installed video cameras on the property that alert staff that people are present after hours.

Hours: The clubhouse doors are open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and access with the code is possible between 6-7 a.m., and 7 and 10 p.m.. Between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. the code is disabled, and there is no access to the Club.

We know that the ability to use the club house in the evening for dinner parties, gatherings, book clubs, a place to stay warm or to use restroom facilities is important and part of the benefit of belong to a club. Please use discretion as to who you give the code to. The code is for Orindawoods members and owners. If i missed any members with this e-mail that play with you, please share the code with them.

I realize that for a few weeks, and longer with infrequent users, changing the code is going to be an inconvenience. Some people that have the old code legitimately will be locked out. We are sorry, but for legal reasons, and the safety of all involved, it is important for us to change the code at this time to respond to this inappropriate late night activity.

We will probably change the code on a regular basis in the future, always posting the changed number on the website (in the member’s only section).

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks,

—Keith
