Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to take a moment to let you know where we are in the court resurfacing project. Courts 4-7 are done, and are fantastic! If you haven’t gotten out and hit some, book a court soon. Really beautiful playing surface!!!! 

Courts 2&3 are currently closed, and being resurfaced this week. We are leveling a couple of troublesome spots today, and patching cracks. Then The Tennis Court Specialists will be coloring the courts on Wednesday through Friday. The full club should be open for play on Saturday 6/2. 

Programs and lessons are ongoing (just over on courts 4-7). There are three courts available for reservations most hours (except during the junior program). The drop-in courts are being used for lessons, some of the time, other times they are open for play. The Ladies and Men’s clinics are still being held, as is the Junior Program and Hit and Fit. Hit and Fit is Friday at 10:30 and Saturday at 7:30. Register with Keith. 

There is no Ball Machine use this week, so sorry. We’ll get you back out there next week on new courts!

We essentially have six new courts for your ongoing tennis enjoyment!!!! Court one was done a year ago, and is fantastic. 

Looking ahead we have many great things going on this summer: 

The summer junior program begins June 11^th. There are 8 one-week long sessions. There is still room available in each week, but sign up soon to insure you get a spot, they are starting to fill up (especially the first two weeks). Contact Patric patric@orindawoodstennis.com if you have questions. 

Twilights and Parties. 

We have the following dates for tennis parties (in addition to the ongoing MTT party):

Just Because … Tennis Party  June 24^th         main course provided, pot luck for the rest, $10

Twilight #1      Sunday July 29^th          5-9 p.m.

Twilight #2      Sunday August 19^th     5-9 p.m.

Twilight #3      Sunday Sept. 23^rd        4-8 p.m.

Twilight #4      Sunday October 7^th     4-8 p.m.

Each of these events is BYOB (bring your own beverage). Twilights cost $20, and we will provide everything else. Choice of filet mignon or grilled chicken from Kinder’s, salad, beans, rolls, ice cream. Yum! Register for these events with Keith keith@orindawoodstennis.com.

We still have a few membership spots, if you know any friends that would like to join the fun and get in the action!
